Went to a really cool cafe today! They had comics, board games, and cool coffee flavors. It was awesome. I am simple to please. Learning elixir right now, it is what my internship uses for backend and boy is it weird. Mysterious new data type, no for loops (why not!!!) and everything is done with recursion. I am certainly getting used to recursion now. Why do they use this?? In other news, my internship is in newyork this summer. I WILL get into the google office and play DDR. It's on my bucket list.

Whoops! I messed up my sleep schedule again. I forgot that matcha has caffeine, but last night I had the best matcha ever (it was $8). Worth it? No absolutely not I got 2 hours of sleep. Would buy again tho.

Saw a couple local bands yesterday. Some of the people there were my sisters friends who are still in highschool, I felt a little bit old but it's good to see that kids are still alternative and weird (I am at most 3 years older than these people). Sometimes a jolly pit would open up and instead of moshing people would hit a jig it was delightful.

And the CD collection is growing! Picked both up for under $10 :) Maybe I'll get a walkman?
In other news, thinking of buying a mini pc for a minecraft and media server. I currently host my minecraft server on an oracle VM, but it would be pretty neat to have it in my house. I ♡ servers. Also crazy to see in real time my education coming in handy. I mean, I know learning stuff is the point of an education but you're telling me I actually understand what people are talking about without having to look it up all the time? Wild!
